His career has embraced Trafalgar House Investments Limited, Bovis Plc, P&O Properties
Plc, The British Land Company Plc, Eurotunnel Plc/SA, and Imperial College London, all at
Main Board or Company Secretary level.
More recently he was Managing Director of Eurotunnel Developments Limited, and the
Property Director of Eurotunnel Plc/SA, the company responsible for financing and
constructing The Channel Tunnel between England and France.
After he launched Noble Wilson Limited in 2001 he was Estates Director at Imperial
College London, responsible for the property aspects of five hospitals and 5million sq.ft of
office, administration and laboratory space.
He is Chairman of the Kent Developers’ Group, Chairman of Locate in Kent Limited, and a
Kent Ambassador. He is also a Consultant to Keltbray (Holdings) Limited, Arcadis (UK)
Limited, City & Provincial Properties Limited, and Squire & Partners Architects.
He is the CEO of Kent\Sussex Connect Limited.
He is past-Chairman of the M.C,C. Estates Committee, and was a member of the M.C.C.
Main Committee and a member of the Project Steering Committee covering the £55m
redevelopment of the Compton/Edrich Stands.
He is a co-opted member of the City of London Corporation Limited’s Investment Board
and their Capital Buildings Board. The CBB covers all City of London projects in excess of
£200m.
He advised the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors on infrastructure and was the
Chairman of the RICS National Awards from 2016 to 2023, and was the Judge for the
Infrastructure category.

Research Council, Cancer Research UK, Buro 4, and Bureau Veritas,

John's career spans Directorships with several major construction and fit out companies before becoming a consultant working with companies and practices across the sector including Kier, Mott MacDonald, Stride Treglowen, Willmott Dixon, Colliers, Chapmanbdsp, SCAPE and many more.
He is also active regionally in Sussex where is founder and co Director of Design Sussex. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Regional representative for the Art Deco Society UK.
